Results of Coolabunia Charolais Classic Bull Sale

COOLABUNIA CHAROLAIS top $5,000 twice A tentative start to this multi-vendor sale, resulted in a reduced clearance from last year’s very strong result, with renewed demand midway through the sale resulting in a total of 31 bulls sold to average $2.960. Two of these bulls topped at $5,000 – account of C & J Warren, “Sirrah” Stud, Mothar Mountain, the first being Sirrah Eldorado, an 855 kg son of WCR Sir Impressive, with an EMA of 138, who was snapped up Mark and Nia Tilley, Beaudesert. The second was Sirrah Everhart, an 895 kg son of Gauguin, with an EMA of 140, selling to J & L Retschlag of Wondai. The Warren Family’s “Sirrah” and “Elridge” Studs from Mothar Mountain, topped the average for the day – of $4,000 for their six (6) bulls offered and sold. The Blanch Family’s “Silverwood” Stud of Nanango topped at $3,750 to sell ten (10) bulls averaging $2,700.
