    Nanango Showgrounds Saleyards will once again be buzzing with activity on    Thursday 15th September for the Tropical All Breeds Bull Sale and Saturday 17th September, 2005, with the Charolais and Charbray Bull Sale.  

   Many thousands of kilometres have been covered with some 350 bulls being inspected and evaluated for this two day Sale fixture.

A very strict criteria was applied and all bulls had to pass a very high standard set by two independent inspectors, before being accepted for nomination.

All bulls will be semen tested and soundness evaluated and will have weights recorded together with teeth dentition. They will also be pre-treated for ticks and carry vendor’s warranty they will clear the tick line on first presentation, which is crucial for buyers coming from clean areas of the State.

Studs included in "Day 1" of the offering of 96 Droughtmasters are …. Amavale, Brigalow Park, Bryvonlea, Cedar View, Cherry Lane, Greenacres, Happy Valley, Heritage, Jasanda, Kandanga, Little Yabba, Maverick, Mt Brisbane, Pine Tree Downs, Rocky View, Southern Cross, Truvalle, Vitwood, Woowoonga, Wundaburra.

Of the 9 Brahmans, studs include  Ginoondan, Nicholroi Charbrays (who have Brahman bulls also), Scrubby Mt.

15 Charbrays are from Diamond L.

45 Santas include studs Dunlop, Greenup, Merrarie, Sunnyview, and Tyndale.

"Day 2’s" offering of 71 Charbray/ Charolais will include very well respected Studs such as Banbury Park, Bralbin Minya, Brayelle, Diamond L, Havilah Park, Karinda, Nanango State High School, Nocholroi, Norfolk Park, Rosecorp, Silverwood, Sirrah/Elridge.

Some very good bulls have been sourced for this inaugural sale and we can thoroughly recommend them to prospective purchasers either as Stud sires or in crossbreeding programs.

Substantial increase in seating with two moveable grandstands at this venue will be a feature of the sales to accommodate the expected crowd.

Live entertainment will be on the Wednesday and Friday nights prior to the Sales, together with licensed BBQ and will generate a realistic, friendly, country atmosphere. D.& G. LIVESTOCK are organising a bus tour on Friday the 16th, to take all sale attendees staying over for the Saturday sale, visiting historical spots in the Shire culminating in lunch at the magnificent Ringfield Homestead.
